Hi Everyone
I'm not a programmer but I have been using an open source ticketing system called eticket, the devlopment of which is now dead.
I've managed to do quite a bit of basic modification myself even though I have no clue about PHP by looking at old forum postings at the eticket site and a little bit of logical thinking.
However, I am stuck on trying to find where I need to make a modification to do the following: -
If you go to http://servicio.conceptosefectivos.com you will see where I am using eticket system (it's in Spanish)
When someone opens a service ticket an alert is sent to an email address.
All alerts are automatically sent to the master administrator account – X@conceptosefectivos.com
Additionally if you log in and click on ‘correo de respuestas’ button in the top blue bar and then scroll down to ‘Email, Aviso’ this is where the email alert is configured for all tickets opened. All tickets are sent to ‘Y@conceptosefectivos.com’.
So all new tickets are sent to person X & person Y.
Now if you go to ‘Categorias’ from the blue bar at the top and then you will see a drop down menu which currently has ‘Servicio Merida’, ‘Servicio Villahermosa’ and ‘Servicio Tuxtla’.
If you select ‘Servicio Tuxtla’ and then press the blue ‘Selecionne’ button you will see in the details below the email address ‘t ux tla at dot conceptosefectivos.com’.
I’m trying to make emails for service calls opened in the category Servicio Tuxtla go to this email address (‘t ux tla at dot conceptosefectivos.com’) as well as X and Y.
Basically this would mean that the 'Manager' knows about ALL new tickets and the person that deals with a particular category only gets an email for service calls related to their category.
In my phpMyAdmin in my cpanel the database relating to eticket is ‘_ceeticket’ and then select table ‘ticket_categories’ you will see the field ‘email’ and the email address ‘t ux tla at dot conceptosefectivos dot com’ for the category ‘Servicio Tuxtla’.
Their is a php file called ‘class.ticket.php’ which is where the instructions seem to be for sending email alerts to X & Y and the client that opens the ticket.
I also see the categories email mentioned in several places but I cannot tie down exactly where the code is to send an alert to X & Y and how to add ‘t ux tla at dot conceptosefectivos dot com’.
I have attached a TXT of the class.ticket.php file.
User Y is alert_user in the ticket_settings table of the eticket database.
Any help would be greatly appreciated. Let me know if you need more information.
