Yes, but PHP does not include PDF support directly. So your choice is either to find a PDF library that you can use, or write your own PHP code to parse a PDF file. But the PDF format is not trivial, so I'd recommend finding a library. There are both free and comercial ones. I have no recommendations, but google should be able to help you out.
