How to make two copies of a file upon upload

I want to have a user upload an image from an image upload form.

However when they click upload I want it to make two copies of that image, so that both can be resized and put into seperate destinations.

Would anyone be able to give me an idea how to do this, ive looked into using copyfunction, but I can't really make sense of it..

The first thing you'd want to do is use [man]move_uploaded_file/man to move the file out of the temporary directory into one of the desired destinations. After that, simply [man]copy/man the file from the first destination to the second.
