Current Date

i have created a event calendar and i have it set so that it only displays todays events. but my problem is it shows events that was in previous months like say there was a event that happend Sept 6th 2010 well it displayed today with its date it was set for.

Day(date) = Day(CURRENT_DATE)

this is in WHERE Clause not sure why i used this lol.. i must have been very sleepy that day.. well not sure on how i would go about changing it so it set it to show for the Year month and day..

can someone help me please

Unless I'm missing something, could you not get rid of the DAY() function?

WHERE `date` = CURDATE()
