No... but that shouldn't be surprising, since there isn't a "built in" function for any other DBMS...

EDIT: I take that back - there are core PHP functions you can use; [man]fsockopen/man to open a connection to the SQL server, then simply [man]fwrite/man and [man]fread/man according to the SQL Server API/protocol. :p
