File permissions

Hi All.

Probably a silly question....but....😕
I have two directories, both with 0777 and at the same level
c:/inetpub/wwwroot/dir1
c:/inetpub/wwwroot/dir2

In dir1/ I can write files but in dir2/ I can't.

Why?

What's the error message say?

Also, since you're using Windows, you technically can't have 0777 permissions, since the numbering scheme doesn't really mean anything (NTFS uses ACL's instead). So... how are the permissions actually setup on those two folders?
