I need to replace any thing that start with a ^ + 1 char more.

for example :

^1Hey , ^7How are ^dyou ?

to:

Hey, How are you ?

basically i know it has to be like this :

/^.{1}$/i

or a like..Thanks for all who help 🙂

There is no need for the repetition modifier (in the curly braces), since by definition a lone dot means any single character. You do, however, have to escape the "^", since it has special meaning in a regexp.

preg_replace('/\^./', '', $string)
