Recommend a PHP login system

Hi all:

My site is currently written in ASP with an MS SQL backend. I am using a Windows server. My next major project is a recode to PHP. I would strongly like to keep the MS SQL backend.

I am looking for a PHP login system that can run on Windows and utilizes an MS SQL backend and I cannot find one! This system would also need to accommodate about 50 custom fields.

And recommedations would be appreciated.

FYI, that is ASP Classic! And the last line is "Any recommendations would be appreciated"!

Probably the first thing to check is if your server has the PHP mssql extension installed, or one of the other DB abstraction layers with MS SQL support. That may narrow down the possibilities if you are not in a position to change/add such things on the server.

I've not worked with MS SQL, but if I had to, I'd probably look at the CodeIgniter framework -- since I'm familiar with it -- and see if the DX Auth login system I'm used to using with it would "play nicely" with MS SQL.

Thank you. I will look into this. I was looking into MVCs as well!
