Bold subject line

Hi

I am having issues with getting some part of the subject line bold. When i do it int he message it works fine but when i put the same code in subject line it does not work.

	Dear Sir/Madam, <br><br>
	Can you action the following request?<br><br>
	Date of Request: $row[requestDate]<br>



 <strong> Comments: ".stripslashes($row[comments])." </strong> <br><br><br>

$headers = '[e-mail]'' . "\r\n";

$headers .= 'Content-type: text/html; charset=iso-8859-1' . "\r\n";
mail($to,$subject,$message,$headers);

You can see in the message there is <strong> and </strong> which works but it does not work in subject

any help would be appriciated

I do not believe most (if any?) mail clients support HTML mark-up in the subject mail header, only in the message body.
