[RESOLVED] CURDATE()+1 not working for November 30th

Hello All,

One of our scripts sends out an test email for the next days current events to our staff members, and it was working and now the query to get tomorrows article, returns no rows.

Here is the query ( I stripped it down to the basics to eliminate any other factors).

SELECT *
FROM daily_events
Where PostDate=(CurDate()+1)

There is an article for tomorrow (2010-12-01).

Here is the PostDate format:
Type: date
Length: 0
Decimals: 0
Allow Null: not checked

Tomorrows article has the date '2010-12-01'.

If I run a -1 I get an article. There are articles for the rest of the week, and if I run +2, +3, etc, I still do not get an article.

I am stumped this worked until now.

i have never seen the way you are going it, always specify the expr and unit.

testing gives interesting results

SELECT CurDate( ) - INTERVAL 1 DAY =2010-11-30
SELECT CurDate( ) -1 =20101200 (not a valid mysql date and there is no day 00)

Thanks dagon, that worked. That was our db persons query. He has been out because of an injury for a couple of weeks, so I was not the familiar with it.

Strange it worked until today. I appreciate the help.

get a new db person, it does not look like he\she knows what they are doing.
