Howto create a file for textile printing

Hello all,

I create a webapplication which let you create a shirt with your own text (custom fonts) and picture (uploads) on it (no flash required, PHP and javascript only). This works fine.

However is it possible to create a file (PDF) that can be send to a textile printer (keeping the X and Y from the fonts and uploads in the correct place after scaling).

Yeah I know, but my problem is not really the PDF but more the format.

Textile printing needs to be on 300 DPI. Based on a size it should calculate the position of the upload. But what is 300 DPI in size, should I create a PDF with a width and height of 4000px x 4000px ?
