Looking For Dedicated Server Hosting

Hi All,
Have any recomendations? We are going to need about 500GB HD space and would like around 3 or 4GB memory and a fast processor. I dont know much about bandwidth and that kind of stuff, so any info is much appreciated!

I've worked with dedicated servers at Liquidweb and at OLM.net as well as some tiny hosting companies. Liquidweb seems kind of pricey but you can get the customer service guys to do stuff for you (like install SVN or other non-standard stuff) which OLM won't really do.

If you're willing to use a virtual machine rather than actual dedicated hardware, then I would highly recommend rackspace cloud servers or amazon compute instances. Not quite as secure because you are sharing hardware with other virtual machines, but really cheap and very convenient.

I found a dedicated hosting packages at Thewebpole.com .Here i found the six plans which has more features..If you need hosting package, get it from this provider..Prices also cheap..

LunarPages has great support ... they may be kinda pricey. 2x80GB HDD, dual 2.8MHz CPU and 4GB RAM is our package at work, I think ... about $110/month.

I'd prefer to work with FreeBSD instead of CentOS ... I kinda wish we could move to rootbsd.net --- looks like you could get 500GB HD, 2GB RAM on a Core2 Q8200 for 99/month.

And, of course, I wouldn't be true to myself if I didn't suggest just grabbing a box (old, or new), sticking FreeBSD on it, and getting it into someone's datacenter or machine room via begging or bartering ... :-P

I expect that it will be difficult to find a VPS with the required specification of 500 GB storage, though a VPS with 4 GB of memory should not be too hard to find.
