I will have an Associates in Web Development by May 2010. I was planning on finishing my Bachelor's at ASU w/ a very small Web Development program they have but every single time I need to get something done with ASU there are ten hoops to jump through including hidden fees, late fees when they hold my registration over, etc.
If I got my Bachelor's it would need to be at ASU because I have a tuition waiver from working there, but I haven't learned anything that I didn't already know with my Associate's because I was already mostly self-taught.
Another weird thing about ASU degree is most of the Web Development courses are in graphic design and it's almost like ASU doesn't know the developer/designer difference.
So I guess my question is:
Do you think that I could get into the Web Development/PHP Development field with an Associate's and start looking for internships until I pick up a full time job, or should I stick it out and get the crappy Bachelor's degree from ASU just to have it on my resume, then do the internship thing?
