using a database to populate a form

Hey guys- I'm trying to populate a form using a database. For example: let's say user1 wants to see a drop down of his favorite fruit. How do i write the script and form so that when user1 adds or subtracts from his favorite fruits that the form expands or contracts with his favorite fruits in the DB? Thanks guys!

There are thousands of tutorials out there. Search on Google for something like "php form database tutorial" and work through a few. It's best to learn several different ways of doing it so you can pick the one that feels best to you.
