Can a PDF file be displayed when a page is opened?

I have a situation where the client would like to have a PDF file automatically open when the user goes to a page. Can this be done?

Yes - search Google for "embed PDF" and you'll find a couple of different ways you might go about embedding a PDF into a webpage.
