I need a free third party chat application which has following features/capabilities:

  • Full support for design change using CSS to give look and feel of the existing site which is developed in PHP/MySQL.

  • Good documentation and help available to install, configure and integrate.

  • Should not be much difficult to integrate with current application.
    (though this requirement can be compromised.)

  • Well tested so that there are no known issues at least.

I put this on this forum because my client is giving very short time for this. If anybody has worked with such application and very satisfied, i would appreciate to know about it.

    You won't find any ultra-high quality PHP chat scripts (that I can recommend, at least).

    If you google "PHP Free Chat" you will find links to numerous different types of chat scripts.

    Generally - any can be customized as they will usually use CSS/Javascript, you will want ot check out their demos to see what style of chat script - be it a "Live Support" script or an IRC style "open" chat script..

    I wish you the best of luck in finding something..
