PHP on windows 7 home premium on IIS with ISAPI / CGI

Hello,
I am using Windows 7 Home Premium. I would like to configure PHP on Windows 7 Home Premium 64 bit Operating System with IIS. I would be very thankful, if anybody can share a step - by - step guide as to how can I open PHP pages in Windows 7.

Also would be very thankful, if somebody can help me on ISAPI v/s CGI usages w.r.t PHP installation.

I havn't ever used IIS, so I'm not certain about this, but a while back I heard that MS dropped PHP ISAPI support, supposedly around the time of the PHP 5.3 release. If that's correct, your only option would be fcgi.

And of course, there's always the manual: [man]install.windows.iis7[/man].

However, I must echo laserlight's question - do you need IIS (e.g. for some ASP, .NET, or other M$ proprietary application)? If not, I would suggest you instead consider using Apache, a more popular, open-source solution for which I think you'll find much more support.
