Managing a mailing list by sending a webpage

Hullo,
I would like to manage a mailing list by picking names and email address from a mySql database - easy part - and picking the contents from a web page. The objective would be to benefit from a CMS for both the style of the newsletter and ease of updating.
I tried with the iFrame directive but I read some clients do not accept it and anyway I could not have it bigger than a very tiny size. I tried therefore to use the file_get_contents directive but it is not clear to me how to insert it inside the ob_start() - ob_get_clean() clauses.
My tests brought to perfectly empty mails.

Could you help me in this latest feat, or suggest some better technique?

html for the web and html for email is not the same thing, so i would give up on tacking a web page to email, i would build the html just for the email.

So far I could get to by myself... But that was expressly what I wanted to avoid as extracting the html from the production of a CMS, perhaps tampering with its content to personalize it, is not exactly my favorite cup of tea.

Any more ideas?

there's no short-cut; learn how to do it your self properly, or hire some one.

So I need to build the page on the CMS, copy the html code from there and past it on the php script perhaps looking for and changing some parts: weird for year 2011.

outlook still uses word for rendering html, if it was easy i would haven't a job

Actually I just tried with 4 address by putting a pause of 5 seconds pause between the sendings for a good measure, and it works.
I solved the problem of the body by manually writing the html code in the php function.
