How many tables?

On my site, users will have the ability to upload pictures, videos, games, and text files. I expect the site to become very large

My question is simple, should I use 4 different tables (1 table for each media type listed above) to store the reference name of the media type in, or should I use 1 table for all media types mentioned above to store reference names of the media in?

Which would you do?

Use one table. If the media types have fields specific to them, create additional tables that each have a foreign key to this main table.
