Zip files but not directories?

I wonder if it's possible to zip files that are located in different directories but not zip the directories? When I unzip I only want the files, no directories.

The reason I want this is because I do not want to show the user my directory structure, I only want to show him the files.

I don't know if there is a simpler method within the Zip functions/class, but certainly you could create a recursive function to walk through a specified directory and all it's sub-directories (using [man]glog/man for example) and add each non-directory file it finds to a Zip archive.
