connection error

i got connection error, so i got this message:

Could not connect to database

i have test with the same coding for the same system (use localhost), it's work...but when i run in my website, i got that error...so, please i not too clear about this error...how I must do...

Sounds like you are not specifying a valid database user and password for the connection on that server.
