How to read the data through URL

Hi..i`m just new to PHP code.

I have one "Vehicle Tracking system device' which can pass the data to the web server through GPRS. The data will be pass and point to my dynamics domain name(dyndns) which is [domain deleted by moderator].

So i would like to read the data that passed from that device.

I need someone teach me how to write a simple line of php code, so that i can put inside my web server and setup a dynamic domain name(dyndns) to receive and read the data that passes from that device.

how will the data be passed? if your using query statements: www.yourwebsite.com?location=somelocation&rand=somerandomnumber, like that, you could use

$location = $_GET['location'];
$rand = $_GET['rand'];
//probably wont need to filter those

otherwise, I'm not sure how you are going to pass the info, but php might not be what you need if it's passing the data another way.
