    he's been bugging me for weeks...
    at least the advertiser should attempt to entertain the public by chaging the ad

    but what's the click through rate on them?
    I should rephrase that - what is the intentional click through rate on them?

    and who goes on to make a purchase or have their brain wetware influenced in a positive way?

      Don't know: I have Flash Block on, so I don't see the actual advert, just the big pseudo-window for it with the little Flash Block icon in the middle of it. 🙂

        I did use Ad blocker (name?) but I built a website that has ads on it

        one day the owner phones up and complains the ads aren't showing..
        I look at the site and sure enough they are gone
        I spend a while trying to see what has gone wrong, start to pull hair out

        eventually it dawns on me:
        I can't see ads because I have Ad blocker on .. and owner can't see ads because they all timed out on the same day - just as he'd set it when he added them 3 months before

        so I gave up Ad block
