Looking for a solid password/login system

Hi all:

I am looking for a professionally built password/login system

PHP
Can run on Windows IIS7
Can connect to MS SQL

This one would be perfect but it doesn't connect to MS SQL, just MYSQL. As I have about 2 weeks of PHP procedural experience it probably isn't a good idea to try to hack it to accept an MS SQL connection!

I tried Googling this a few times and I can find VERY FEW choices to even connect to MYSQL, let alone MSSQL. If anyone is aware of one I would like to hear from you.

Most people "roll their own". I can appreciate the idea of "professionally built" software, but anyone who comes to market with a "password/login system" would be laughed off the market pretty quickly ... unless they just happened to offer it alongside a real product.

It really should be trivial to change databases. Get crackin' on the books and example, and do the hack. You'll be better off from the experience, IMHO.

I might add, that a "real product" might include a great security solution ... for example, an encryption/decryption protocol, biometrics interface, etc.

When you say "change databases" do mean change the script database from MYSQL to MSSQL or do you mean change MY database from MSSQL to MYSQL?

As far as building my own, too much of my business revenue comes from the secured portion of my site. I would feel more comfortable leaving in the hand of some who knows a LOT more than I do!!!

Most systems created by anyone with a clue define the database functions in a single location. It's true that there might be some "quid pro quos", but it certainly wouldn't hurt to do some testing to see if the whole thing was as simple as changing as few configuration options and function calls in one or two locations.

That is just what I was hoping. If so, then yest I can do it myself. I will contact the builder.

As an aside, why wouldn't someone who is a developer get on this? PHP on IIS is getting commonplace so I would think connecting to MSSQL is as well. I would think some developer could make a few bucks by producing this.
