Hello,

I wonder if anyone knows how to setup a web server so I can host my domain.

How do the web hosting services, you can sign up for do it???
I really want all control of my own domain so I don't feel limited. I know there
is programs Like Xampp, Wamp, lamp, but it's just too simple and it is really doesn't feel like a full webserver.

I want Namerservers for my site. I want it Hosted fully from my computer servers.
Also setup email, ftp, mysql, phpmyadmin

I have the equipment. I want to know how to setup everything like the web hosting services do.

Are there any websites that tell all how to do this all??

you want to set this up on your 'home' connection, do you have the bandwidth for this? no one runs a site of any size from home. you should look at getting a vps\dedicated sever account. or buying some rack space if you really want to do the hardware to.

If you have a computer and are familiar with linux, try out ispconfig. It's an open-source hosting panel and will show you a lot of what you need to do to set up a server.
