email file on submit

Hi there,
I have a form that inserts records into a database. If the email is unique the user is sent to a coupon to print, if it's not unique they are redirected.

Now the client wants this coupon emailed to the user instead.. Can someone point me in the right direction to figure this out? I'm not too sure where to begin

I want to clarify.. I can make the form write the database and email fields in the form. But I have no idea how to send an attachment only to the email that is not uploaded or info populated from the form..
