Mixed table types (InnoDB and MyISAM) in the same db

I have a php app that uses a small mysql db with about 15 tables in it. The db has a mix of InnoDB and MyISAM tables as a few table require transaction support and MyISAM does not support transactions. Are there any issues with having mixed table types (InnoDB and MyISAM) in the same db?

Nope, as long as you recognize limitations such as the one you already mentioned and avoid them accordingly.
