how to save users results to a db

Hi guys,

I would like to have a save button that when clicked will save the users score from the quiz to the db.

How could i do this?
Currently i have :

id
username
password

in the database.

Would it be best to create a new table or if not how would i input a score to an additional field such as above

(save feature will be on last page of quiz)
