I've been coding using CakePHP for about a year, but it seems like every website I go to has stuff about Code Ignitor.
So I'm wondering, why is Code Igniter so popular? What are some of the pros and cons?
For me, it was the better documentation that got me going with CodeIgniter. (That was a couple years ago, so I don't know if Cake has caught up in that respect now.) The latest versions of CI have taken care of my main gripe, going fully PHP5 now and no longer worrying about supporting PHP4.
