[RESOLVED] get search terms

I'm sure someone has the answre to this. I've been searching all day, and haven't yet found code (at least, none I can check).

I want to get the search terms people used to find my website via google, msn, etc.

I then want to use those terms to redirect.

For instance, if they searched for "security training," they'd be forwarded to www.mysecuritysite.blah.

If they searched for "taxes," they'd be forwarded elsewhere. Etc., etc., etc.

My page cannot (yet) be found in google other than by typing the name directly, so I'm not sure how to test this code & see if it works. However: Someone said that such code will screw up my google ranking. Is this true?

it is not a small solution you ask for. if there aren't a framework already for this I'd recommend starting to look at the traffic you get to your site.

$_SERVER['HTTP_REFERER']

Will give you the URL that the user previously visited. If it was google (or any other popular search engine coughs), you can also see in the URL what the user actually searched for. Parsing those search terms would require specific/customized parsing code for each site I suppose.

I hope this is some kind of help for your project. Perhaps there already is a tool out there doing this, that I do not know of.
