Webmail: mark as unread

Good Morning guys!

i built a webmail in php with imap functions.
Now i would to implement the option "mark as unread"

i know clear all flags or set as seen, answered, flagged, deleted...
but nothing about unread (or unseen).

how can i do this?

Do you know how to clear a specific flag given its name?

"Unseen" messages are simply ones that the user hasn't Seen yet. In other words, simply remove/clear the message's "\Seen" flag and it is now "unseen" or unread. See [man]imap_clearflag_full/man for more info/examples.
