Installing APC for Drupal 6

Hi,

There is a requirement that I have to install APC for one of my Drupal project. I tried to install it but the problem is that I am unable to install it on the below stated configuration
OS- Windows 7
PHP -- 5.3.0
Drupal --6
Server Wamp 2.0

But when I change my php version to 5.2.11 APC details are show in phpinfo() but few modules of drupal stops working. So I have to make APC working on the above said configuration.

Also I am not sure which APC version to install for the above configuration.
