I'm simply trying to pull a .dat file off of a different server so I can open it and read some stuff from it through the FTP functions. I can grab the file fine but for whatever reason, it does not save the file in the same way, using either Ascii or Binary modes.
Would it be something to do with the fact that it's a .dat or something I'm missing?
