[RESOLVED] Parse error: syntax error, unexpected T_STRING

Well I just made the switch from Blogger to Wordpress and have manage to mess things up on day one!
This is the error message I'm getting after messing with functions.php:

Parse error: syntax error, unexpected T_STRING in /home2/sweettma/public_html/wp-content/themes/prose/functions.php on line 2

I'm completely clueless as to what I'm missing and like an IDIOT didn't backup or copy the html before messing with it. Please help!

missing opening / (slash) for block comment

To preserve the PHPDocumentor functionality (which you may not care about now but perhaps in the future), the comment should start with "/":

All PHP actually cares about is the opening "/" and closing "/", the rest of that style is to make it work with the PHPDocumentor software for automatically generating documentation.
