I'm new here so I might be totally mistaken, but I can't seem to get the "Mark this forum read" in the forum tools to work on any of the boards.

    Yeah, it's been broken for a long time now, and the admins seem to be at a loss (or lack of budget?) to fix it. If you're at the topic list page of a given forum, you can get it marked by appending "&do=markread" (without the quotes) to the URL and entering it. At least in Firefox, once you've done that for a given forum, you can then just click on the URL then hit the down-arrow key to see similar URLs, and select the one with the "&do=markread" already on it. Quite the kludge, eh? :rolleyes:
