having trouble testing php files

Hi,

I just started learning php and hit my first misstep. I am using windows vista and set up apache and php. I tried to create a file to send feedback information and for some reason when i type into my browser "localhost/feedback.html" it gives me an error saying it cannot be found.

any help on how to get this to work would be much appreciated.

I figured it out. I had saved the file as feedback.html instead of just feedback. It was looking for feedback.html.html and that is what caused the problem
