class_jabber example help

Hi I'm trying to develop a webchat using wordpress and class_Jabber. I could able to get connected to the server but showing some error like below

I didn't make any changes in jabber_example.php or class_Jabber.php except the connect timeout settings. Please help me to resolve this. Thanks in advance.

I don't know anything about that class, but presumably it's your PHP max_execution_time that is timing out while the script is looping and waiting for a response. I would recommend checking with the creator of the class or its documentation as to what they recommend in terms of PHP max_execution_time settings, or whether this indicates a problem/bug, or what.

If you don't have permission to change the php.ini settings, consider using this in the script that is timing out:

set_time_limit(0);
