Retrieve column data

Hi I currently have a db with 80+ columns each with a particular area code what I am trying to do is allow the administrator to select a column and bring back all data with in.

Why

Each member can set the area they operate in so I want the admin to find out who is operating in a particular area. Possible if they enter the area code in a text field or select from combo box.

Is this even possible

It should be possible as long as you have the necessary data, however I think I am missing something in terms of having 80 columns. Are these actually 80 columns in 1 database table, OR 80 rows in one table ?

Either way you should be able to retrieve the data like I said, my main concern is if you have a table with 80 columns, why ?

Surely possible, just post the table structure with couple of record, and let us see..
