From browser upload large csv file from local machine

need to code a web page that lets end user click a "browse to" button that lets them browse the file system/directories on a local machine to select a csv file that will be uploaded into a mysql table. Planning to use fgetcsv function for upload, fopen function to prepare file for upload but am not sure how to set up browse to button. Am thinking that there is probably some stuff already done that will help with this that I'm just not aware of, or maybe someone could briefly describe how they would approach this.

FYI you access the files uploaded by input type=file using $FILES array not the $POST array as may be expected. Your other inputs are still received via POST

Thank you again. Put the earlier code in a page and of course it work just like I needed, but you already knew that huh.

Using $_FILES array is another bit I was unaware of. Thinking life cycle wise, is there anything else I probably don't know just yet seeing as how this will be the first time using this system to upload a cvs file to a mysql table?
