New catagories in a forum

Ok. So This may sound like a stupid question...but I am new to this so bear with me.

I am creating a basic forum. I have a replyform.php which displays the form....and then a newentry.php page the enters the info into my database. Everything works fine for one new catagory....but everytime I go to add a second catagory on...it wont let me. Meaning, it doesnt do anything but reload the page without getting any id's

Hi Vinny,

In order to get any usefull input, it would be good to show how you have tried to implement the new category. Make sure you have in your table with posts / threads somewhere a 'category' numeric field, and create a table with categories. THen you can assign each post a category, and create as many categories as you would like in your categories table.
