[RESOLVED] phpmyadmin questions

Hi,

I just installed phpmyadmin and I need help with this.

Everytime I want to access phpmyadmin I have to type

        [url]http://localhost/phpmyadmin/index.php[/url]

I see in some videos that people access it from localhost/phpmyadmin
When I try to access it through localhost/phpmyadmin it shows
"Index of /phpmyadmin". Any Idea how to fix this?

Another Question.

At the bottom of the phpmyadmin page it shows:

""The phpMyAdmin configuration storage is not completely configured, some extended features have been deactivated.""

Any help would be appreciated. Thanks

Assuming you're using Apache, edit the httpd.conf configuration file (or create a .htaccess file in the root of your site) and modify the DirectoryIndex directive to include index.php as one of the files it looks for when a directory is accessed.

No idea what that error means; did you run the setup/install GUI that creates the config file for you?
