Hello All,

I'm new at this, but am more confused than usual. I made a post on this forum entitled "Please help with background image and footer". and have been trying to respond to the answer, but am met with a message that my posts have to be moderator approved. I find this odd since my original thread/post didn't need approved. Am I missing something and if not, how long does it take to have a message approved? I'm anxious to reply and get my issue(s) resolved.

Thanks!

Typically if you are new, your posts are screened. If the scripts decides there are no odd words in there, the ost will be automatically approved. Sometimes, the post is flagged. Within a few hours you should see the post be approved.

Naturally if you are urgently looking for an answer, and you are replying to my previous post, as an exception this once you could pop me a pvt message. Just make sure you also post the question on the forum, as this will help other people to solve their issues.

Thanks. It seems to go through immediately if I use quoted text. Yes, I considered a PM, but don't seem to be allowed access to that feature yet, which is standard and understandable to cut down on unwanted contacts by spammers and such. I try to steer clear of that in order to post things that might be helpful to others, as you so correctly pointed out. The exception is if files are involved that are best not posted publicly for security reasons.
