I'm looking to have a bar menu - almost like a one row table. every cell being a link.

I might need these links when clicked to display a box with sub links later so keep that in mind but that's it's own code which is easy enogh.

What I want is for this bar menu to be rounded slightly at each end.

How can I do this?

There are a variety of ways, including those that use images and those that do not. A quick Google search for something like CSS rounded corner should give you plenty of different options.

why not? it would space everything out as needed?
What else do you make it with? just a DIV tag?

Because that's not what it was designed for, it doesn't mean anything semantically, there are better ways of doing it, it isn't always cross-browser friendly, and numerous other reasons.

Most likely, yes, although in the past I've also used unordered lists (<ul><li>... <li>... </ul>).
