linking to something on the same page HELP!

I am creating a website and need help with something!

I want the user to be able to click on 1 of 3 different links, once the user clicks the link i want my text to show up on the right side of the same page. send me some info please!

PS. this is similar to the "wall" "Info" "Notes" on your Facebook profile, its all staying on the same page but every choice you click brings up different information.

Okay, thanks! i actually figured that out on my own but thank you anyways. next question: I am placing a form into the href and in order to do that i had to use '' instead of "". how do i make it parse from the top of the page?

No, you're not. I html 4.01 and xhtml 1, it does not matter which element that is allowed to have an href attribute, the href attribute is still never allowed to take anything but a URI as value.

Have to? The choice is yours. Noone is forcing you to do anything.

okay... so is there a way to replace href with something else so i can call for a form when i click the link!
