Free smtp server 2.5 connectivity problem

I have successfully installed free smtp server 2.5 but i have problem of connectivity. The status bar of smtp server ,continusely showing message "Waiting for connections on port #25, using DNS server :10.16.99.10".
I have also changed the port 25 to 2525 but failed to connect.
Please someone guide me.

You're going to have to give more info than that. How are you trying to connect? PHP [man]mail/man? [man]fsockopen/man? A mail client? Telnet?
