[RESOLVED] Converting month to numerical value

Quick problem:

if the month format is like the below

Dec 16 2011
Mar 13 2011

etc.
etc.

How do you converts it to a numerical value

For anyone else: The php manual is still correct, and it's your php installation you should let be the judge of these things.

Also, as I told you in your other thread about the same thing, the man page at php.net for strotime has a link to the page with acceptable formats.

Just converted the string to a better format, did the trick.

Definitely incorrect:

$time = strtotime('Dec 16 2011');
echo date('m/d/Y', $time);

output is, of course:

12/16/2011
