PHPAdmin Sort Feature

PHPAdmin has a feature that allows you to sort a table by clicking on the table column displayed as a hyper link. I was wondering if anyone knew how this was implemented as I'd like to do the same in one of my projects. I'm assuming they are collecting some variables into the GET array but I'm not really sure what happens after that.

I don't know for sure what techniques it uses, but it's written in PHP, so you can view the source code and find out. 🙂 If you don't have access to the source code on your web host, you can download your own copy from http://www.phpmyadmin.net/home_page/downloads.php. (Also, it's included with any WAMP/LAMP installation on your PC, such as with Wampserver or XAMPP.)
