How could i retrieve ipad1 hardware information?

I am working on a web application in php for ipad. I need to retrieve the ipad's unique identifier programmatically.
Is there any way i could check the unique identifier of an ipad in the php application.

You can't check anything that isn't given to you. If the iPad supplies this unique identifier with every HTTP request (such as in the user agent string shown by HerbRodenhaber), then sure - check out the $_SERVER array for that value.
