help with a preg_replace/preg_match

Aloha all, im trying to parse the following line with preg_replace or preg_match:

<span id="sectionTable">F:1000AM - 1125AM<br />T:230PM - 355PM</span>

What i would like is an idea of how to break up the letter (F, T, M...etc), which stands for the day of the week obviously, store that in one variable, move the the first time ****AM/PM store that in another element, eliminate the dash and white space and get the next time and store that in an element, remove the <br /> and repeat the process on the second set of day letter and times.

any help would be much appreciated.

Personally I'd use some kind of DOM handling, such as PHP's built in DOM class[/dom] to get the span element, iterate over its child nodes checking for text nodes and explode their values by :, which should prevent you from accidentally matching something else in the document.
