i need some help in finding a script to auto download a pdf file from my site

can any one help me?

(If that doesn't help, you might want to be more specific... what do you mean "auto download" ? Where should it store the downloaded file?)

@bardgrafelman: thanks alot, but when i run my page after putting the code it gives me an error.

the code is:

http://mywebsite.com/LPv3/to/my file.pdf

and the error is:

[function.file-get-contents]: failed to open stream: HTTP request failed! HTTP/1.1 400 Bad Request in \boswinfs01\home\users\web\b291\ez.mywebsite.com\LPv3\download1.php on line 2

@: no i just want a script to allow my user to download a file from a link i put in my web page.

URLs can not have spaces in them. Make sure you're passing file_get_contents() a valid URL (for example, one that's been [man]urlencode/man'ed or [man]rawurlencoded/man).
